THE MAGIC OF MUDRAS [SERIES]
A six-week online yoga series exploring how the addition of mudras can enhance your practice and sense of wellbeing.
Time & Location
06 Jul 2021, 19:30 BST – 10 Aug 2021, 20:30 BST
If you have practised with me for a while, you may well have noticed that we will often begin a practice with a particular Hasta Mudra (hand gesture). These are energetic seals performed with the hands believed to help direct & affect the flow of energy in the body. They are believed to enhance overall wellbeing & allow us to tap into subtle but powerful energy reserves. Not just felt on the physical level, hasta mudras can also affect our emotional & mental wellbeing. I love how these hand gestures add another beautiful layer to my practice & I would love to share some of them with you over the coming weeks.
A few you will be familiar with, some may be new to you, but all will be introduced in a carefully considered way alongside a specific intention for our practice. Some of the mudras we will look at in this series include Ganesha mudra (remover of obstacles), Parma mudra (symbolism of purity), Garuda mudra (associated with our throat chakra) & Prana mudra (life force ).
Essential oils will also be a beautiful addition to this series so where appropriate, I will recommend a particular oil(s) before class to enhance your experience of the practice.
As always, this 6-week series is bookable as a block @ £40 (making it just over £6.60 a class) or of course if you prefer to ‘drop in’ you can do so @ £8 a class.
On booking your place, you will automatically receive both the zoom link to the live stream Tuesday evening an hour before class & also the recording early on Wednesday morning .
I really look forward to sharing this series with you. If you have any questions then please do message me.
